چکیده
Abstract At present, large yellow croaker, Larimichthys crocea , a carnivorous fish ranked fifth in aquaculture production among marine finfishes the world, still relies on raw diet because formulated feed alone is not able to sustain rapid growth of fish. The present study evaluated growth, utilization efficiency, body composition and antioxidant capacity croaker fed diets containing four protein (430, 460, 490 520 g/kg) three lipid (60, 90 120 levels. Fish weighing 11.4 ± 2.8 g were with test net pens for 8 weeks. Final weight nitrogen retention efficiency (NRE) dependent dietary levels their interaction. Weight gain, content, serum catalase (CAT) activity liver glutathione peroxidase (GSH‐Px) Phosphorus was level interaction between Hepatosomatic index, energy contents, activities superoxide dismutase (SOD) GSH‐Px serum, CAT malondialdehyde content level. final gain at g/kg did significantly differ from those weight, NRE higher than 60 level, but maximum occurred either or lipid. as well SOD compared reveals that optimal reared 490–520 g/kg, respectively.

The proximate composition, amino acid and fatty acid composition in the muscle of wild, inshore and offshore cage-cultured large yellow croaker (Pseudosciaena crocea) were determined to identify nutritional differences. Wild fish groups showed highest content of moisture and crude protein, but lowest lipid content. Offshore cage-cultured fish showed significantly higher content of moisture and ...
